Summer Performance

Join the Jette Parker Artists for a very special 20th Anniversary Celebration. Music Director of The Royal Opera Antonio Pappano and Jette Parker Young Artist colleagues take to the podium to conduct the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House in semi-staged works from across the opera canon, performed by current and former Programme artists. Favourite arias from Puccini’s Madama Butterfly and Massenet’s Manon feature alongside lesser-known works including Verdi’s Luisa Miller and Rachmaninov’s Aleko. At this 20th Anniversary Celebration we bid a fond farewell to the artists who leave The Royal Opera this Season and catch up with stellar graduates. Hear stories from the early days of the Programme and explore its future in specially-commissioned short films featuring live interviews, archive images and footage.
